Research and Development Network is seeking to establish and network of Researcher Assistant in all regions of Tanzania, East Africa and Africa at large. This is a part-time job where researchers from any field of specialization can work from any where. The main objective for establishing Research Assistant Representatives is to improve delivery of research activities or projects in term of time efficiency and cost effectiveness. We accept applications from all regions in Tanzania(Mainland and Zanzibar), Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Africa in general.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Research Assistant (RA) will work under the direction of a research team comprised of the Project Manager and Researchers and Consultants. Training and mentoring will be provided on an ongoing basis by the Research and Development Network(RDN). The Research Assistants will collect data using various means (personal interviews, focus groups, meetings, email solicitations, etc.) from various sources (individuals, government and private agencies, businesses, internet, etc.). The Research Assistant will also work with the team to analyze data and prepare reports (to include text and graphics). Results will be presented by the team both in written form and orally at public consultations and other meetings. The RA will also be responsible for coordinating the logistics for team meetings and workshops in their locations.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
Degree or equivalent qualification from any field of specialization. The successful applicant is expected to have:
