We are in the initial stage, prepping up to take this product global. While we are this stage, from October 21, 2016 we will be sharing tips on how to use Escrow Payment. It has been difficult for members to test how escrow work because they don't have credit in their account. Therefore all registered members accounts will be credited with $500 to exercise how escrow payment work. This exercise will help you to understand how to deposit funds into your account, how to buy subscription plan, how to withdraw funds, how to make payment/ pay freelancer and how to manage payment.

All TIPS/INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED IN THIS FORUM (RDN Platform Help Forum). Please visit this forum, follow instructions and exercise.

Welcome to the RDN Platform Help Forum.

Today our tips will be on how to deposit funds into your account.
This is just a demo to show you how you can deposit funds into your account. It will cost you nothing but we are going to approve your deposit of $500.

Steps to deposit funds:-
1. Login, if not yet login
2. Click submits project or find projects
3. Click Finance and then click deposit funds. The following image shows how page displays when you click submit a project, select Finance and then deposit.



4. Enter the deposit amount ( For our case it is 500). The following image shows how page displays when you click deposit funds to enter the deposit amount.



5. Click continue and checkout.
For this demo you will end up at the step 5. After Administrator approved your deposit, you will see the funds you deposited into your account.



For the actual deposit you will proceed to step 6
6. Use RDN Bank details to transfer funds if you choose bank transfer method of payment or use any payment method of your choice as will be updated.

Make payment by using Escrow (Escrow Payment)

Please note that, in order the escrow payment system to accept your payment or transfer, you must:-
i. Submit/post a project
ii. Pick or chose winner for your project and the winner must accept your offer

The following are steps to make payment:-
1. Login, if not yet login
2. Click submit a project or find projects
3. Click finance and then escrow payment. The following image shows how page displays when you click submit a project, select finance and then escrow payment


Please note that, by using Escrow Payment you can make payment by milestone (Partial payment) or full and final payment for completed project. But it depend with the agreement you entered with your expert/ freelancer.

4. Select payment option as agreed with Freelancer
A. If you agreed to make full payment for completed project, you have to select Full and final payment for completed project
B. If you agreed to make payment by milestone, you have to select Partial payment for project

5. Project: After you have selected either A or B, select project you want to make payment.
6. Username: System will recall username of the Freelancer
7. Amount: System will recall the amount if you selected Full and final payment for completed project. If you select Partial payment for project, you have to enter the amount as agreed.
8. Notes: You can write anything about the payment. For example thanking freelancer for good job, suggestion for improvement etc.
9. Transfer: Click transfer to transfer funds to freelancer. Please note that, at this stage Freelancer will see the incoming Escrow Payments under Manage Payment.
10. Release payment. Go to Finance and then Manage Payment, select Outgoing Escrow Payment and then click release. Fund will be seen in Freelancer account. The following image shows how page displays when you click submit a project- finance – Manage Payment – Outgoing Escrow Payments

MANAGE PAYMENTS

• Outgoing Escrow Payments
• Incoming Escrow Payments

1. Outgoing Escrow Payments
This section shows information about payment you made to Freelancers. It includes the Date payment made , receiver name(username), Title of project paid, Amount, Action and Status.
Please note that, if Freelancer completed your project, go to manage payment, Outgoing Escrow Payment and then click Release under Action column to complete the transfer. The following image display outgoing Escrow Payment information.



2. Incoming Escrow Payments
This section shows information about payment made to you by employer or buyer. It will reflect Date, Sender, Title of the Project paid serviced, Amount, Action and Status. Please note that, you need to accept the transfer in order to receive fund into your account. To accept click Accept under Action column. The following image display outgoing Escrow Payment information.
